Seminarians’ Comments:

“The Summer Spiritual Program offered me the ability to conform more clearly to Christ, particularly through the Silent Retreat (which I had never experienced before.) It was a great opportunity.”
“New insights were offered in the courses that I had never considered on my own. The pastoral illustrations shared in both courses connected the material with real ministry practice which helped my personal discernment.“

Bishops from across Canada and the U.S. have expressed strong support for the meaning of this program for their future priests. The program facilitates seminarians’ deepening relationship with God and opens their hearts to greater sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s promptings. It provides seminarians with a clearer understanding of the charisms specific to diocesan priesthood, and for many seminarians is an experience of awakening of their discernment and desire to serve God and His people through this particular vocation within the Church.
