Welcome to St. Peter's Seminary
Alumni Association
Since its beginning, the Seminary has prepared over 1,000 priests and 100 lay people for active ministry in the Church. These dedicated alumni serve across the Diocese of London, the nation and indeed many parts of the world. Sixteen members of the alumni have been named to the episcopate. In addition, approximately sixty of the 100 lay graduates of the theological program are serving the Church in various capacities.
2012: Here we come!
Alumni Reunion 2008 a Grand Success
From October 13 to 16, 2008, St. Peter's Seminary graduates, both clerical and lay, gathered in London for the triennial alumni reunion. The gathering was highlighted by an inspiring discussion of lexio divina by Archbishop Thomas Collins, a graduate and former rector of the Seminary, a celebration of the Mass led by Bishop Anthony Daniels, and the reunion dinner which took place in the refectory and sparked memories and much laughter.
Congratulations to our New Alumni President

During the Alumni Reunion (October 13-15, 2009), the assembled graduates gave the Association approval to continue our traditional method of electing a president.
The new president, Fr. Richard “Dick” Cartier (’65), hails from Chatham. He has a quiet, gentle spirit, and a wonderful sense of humour. He is remarkable for his pastoral insightfulness. For years, he has been involved in various diocesan councils and committees and is a highly respected “priests’ priest”, beloved by priests and parishioners alike.
Retiring President, Fr. Jim Hutton (’66), remarked in his closing speech: “We hope that Dick’s tenure in these lofty heights will bring him joy and sagacious hope for us at St. Peter’s Seminary. God bless him for saying yes."
