Pastoral Care Visitor Training Program

Description

This program helps parishes to establish effective pastoral care teams of 4 or more volunteers who reach out with care and compassion to patients in hospitals, in long term care facilities and to the elderly in their homes. The two part workshops of this program offer a variety of learning opportunities to help team members gain confidence and to maintain a standard of care that is life-giving to the recipient and the caregiver, to parishes, and to the long-term care facilities they support.
