A. P. Mahoney Library

Named for the Reverend Monsignor A. P. Mahoney, Rector of the Seminary from 1930 to 1966, the  library supports teaching and learning in the theology and philosophy programmes. Eight Guiding Principles inform our work. The library’s strength includes its extensive scripture collection, Roman Catholic theology, patristics, canon law and Thomistic materials.  The collection can be accessed through the Omni interface which comprises the holdings of Western Libraries and the Affiliate University College Libraries (Brescia, Huron, and King's) as well as 13 other Ontario university libraries.

The Michael R. Prieur Seminary Archives are located within the library on the lower level.

The A. P. Mahoney Library hosts an annual lecture to celebrate Theological Libraries Month, an initiative of the American Theological Library Association, held in October of each year. The lecture serves as a vehicle to showcase the seminary’s talented faculty and is followed by a reception in the library.
