Library Privileges for Alumni

Borrowing: As Western alumni, graduates of St. Peter's are entitled to borrowing privileges at the A.P. Mahoney Library, St. Peter's Seminary, as well as at the libraries of Brescia, Huron, King's University Colleges and at Western Libraries.

Alumni are permitted to borrow regular loan materials and are limited to 5 items at one time. Alumni are not permitted to borrow short-term loan items, to recall items on loan, or to use the Interlibrary Loan Services.

Library material may be returned to the A.P. Mahoney Library Service Desk, or to any Affiliate University College Library or Western Library. The library at St. Peter's Seminary does not have an after-hour book drop. The closest book drop is located outside of the Cardinal Carter Library at King's University College.

Library Card

Your Western alumni card is your library card. To set up a borrower account, present it, with one other piece of photo ID, to the staff at the Service Desk.

On Campus Research

You are always welcome to visit the A.P. Mahoney Library and use our facilities, in addition to borrowing books, you can:

Search the Shared Library Catalogue of over 11 million items.
Search our hundreds of databases and other electronic resources (on site only, some exceptions apply)
Use our Reference and Periodicals collections
Ask us questions
