Celebrating our Laity

Henry and Lina Iacobelli of Leamington, Ontario, have been faithful supporters of St. Peter's Seminary, and they have contributed to a number of important Church and community related initiatives.  For their faithful commitment, they were awarded membership in the Knights of the Order of St. Gregory the Great by Pope Francis.  Pandemic health conditions have prevented a more public celebration of their appointments.  On 28 October, the papal honour was presented by Bishop Fabbro and Auxiliary Bishop Dabrowski as they celebrated a Mass of thanksgiving in their honour at St. Michael's Church in Leamington.  At the end of Mass, they were presented with the insignia medals of the Order.  We offer a heartfelt thank-you to the Iacobelli's for their many years of service to their parish, the Seminary and the Diocese of London.
