Director of Liturgical Music Position

St. Peter’s Seminary, London, Ontario, is seeking a Director of Liturgical Music. The position requires excellent musical leadership with a knowledge of Catholic Liturgical music. The applicant will coordinate the planning for all Liturgical celebrations and provide accompaniment for the services. Additional rehearsals will serve to instruct cantors in psalms and chants of the Roman missal. The music director will work in collaboration with the Seminary formation faculty.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent, personal qualities of good organization, responsibility, collaboration, a positive attitude, the ability to work effectively with people, and proficiency in organ, piano, and vocal techniques.  The applicant will have evidence of formal liturgical training and an experience with various musical styles.

This is a part-time position of 15-20 hours. each week to begin as soon as possible.
